House of Floof

Toronto Cat-sitting and Boarding

Personalized pampering for your furry vip

At House of Floof, your feline floof is our family. We know how hard it can be to leave your kitties when you are away. We know that cats can be quirky, and at House of Floof, we pride ourselves in getting to know each and every one of our adorable fluffy clients and do whatever it is to make them happy. Does your cat love to lick ice cubes, listen to murder podcasts, or choose their own toys from their toy box? Does your feline take medication? Do your multiple cats need a “food" referee”? Does your kitty get nervous, skittish, or fearful around strangers? We want to know it all. No need is too small, or too strange, for us. We want to know every detail so we can truly cater to your kitty and treat them like the feline royalty that they are.

At House of Floof, we bring to your household our many years of experience cat sitting, fostering cats, and of course as pet owners ourselves, so not only do we specialize in cats, but we also offer services for you to make your life easier as a pet owner. We can pick up cat supplies for you, chauffeur your kitty to the vet, deep clean litter boxes, clip cat nails and even pick up human food or supplies to welcome you home from your trip. As a cat-sitter, foster-cat mom with TEAM Cat Rescue, and cat owner, House of Floof founder Emily Stang brings to your home her extensive experience with taking care of cats. This means that she bring with her to every visit her experience with skittish cats, cats with difficult or challenging personalities, rescue cats, administering medications, and recognizing when a cat is not feeling themselves.

Emily’s Journey

I had always wanted cats growing up, and not just any cats, but the fluffiest cats I could bury my face into. Sadly as a child I was allergic to cats and it wasn’t until high school when I had finally outgrown my allergies that my father and I went out on two separate occasions and, without any warning (and to the dismay of my mother), brought home two cats, Ginger and Oreo. Ever since then, I have been making up for my early childhood cat-deprivation by becoming a pet owner, cat-sitter, and foster-mom with TEAM Cat Rescue in Toronto. Several years ago I brought my two baby Ragdoll cats home. Quasimodo and Nessie began my fur family and I was granted the two floofiest bellies I could have hoped for, and you better believe I bury my face in them constantly. I loved having cats back in my life and wanted to make a difference to cats that needed help. Shortly thereafter I began my fostering journey with TEAM Cat Rescue, through which I have foster-failed (i.e. adopted) two of the foster cats that I couldn’t bear to part with. This was how Little Miss (a very affectionate one-eyed cat with extra toes) and Speed Racer (a loving gentle kitten who had to overcame many health obstacles) joined the family. Aside from the two former-fosters who will now be with me forever, I have been lucky to bestow my love on numerous cats and kittens in their times of need and help them with their physical and mental health in order that they could find their forever homes. It has been a wonderful and challenging learning experience that has enhanced my relationship with cats. I have learned so much about cat behaviour and personalities and cat health by taking care of foster cats and I bring that knowledge and experience with me into every cat sitting visit I go to. My goal is to spend as much time with cats as I can, and of course, to bury my face in as many (willing) fluffy bellies as I can. I make sure that your cats get the same attention and loving care as each member of my fur family above. because I know that you wouldn’t want it any other way.
